Baked Oatmeal

This is one of my favorite breakfast recipes, and very easy as well! You can also add nuts and fruits to your desire. It does take a while to bake so make sure you start a little earlier (It takes 30 minutes). But I still always like to set the timer to a little less than the suggested time just in case. This baked oatmeal is kind of like a cinnamon oatmeal cake, very delicious and everyone will be wanting seconds! One of my sisters doesn’t like regular breakfast oatmeal but she loves this, so if you don’t like regular oatmeal please don’t skip this recipe, I know you’ll love it too.

Ingredients

  • 3 Cups Oatmeal (not Quick Oats)
  • 1 Cup Brown sugar
  • 2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 Cup Melted butter or Oil
  • 2 tsp Vanilla

Directions

Set oven to 350 F, mix all dry ingredients in a medium sized bowl. Beat in wet ingredients, pour into a greased 9×13 baking pan, bake for around 20-30 minutes.

Enjoy! Also, we like to eat it in a bowl with a spoon because it can be crumbly at times!
