This is the BEST peanut butter frosting recipe, ever! And trust me, I’ve tried many. I got the recipe from a cookbook that my Nana had but, sadly, we can’t remember which one. Also feel free to substitute any nut butter, I have been craving to try Cookie Butter! This frosting is very good also because if you add a little more milk it becomes a sundae topping/syrup, but if you follow the instructions it pipes like buttercream! Our family loves peanut butter, a lot. We eat it so many different ways, here are a few; on a spoon plain or with chocolate chips, with a banana, in a baked good or frosting, on toast or a sandwich, on crackers, or even pretzels in it. And that’s not even all!

ingredients
- 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups powdered sugar
directions
Beat the peanut butter, milk, and vanilla with an electric mixer until well blended. Gradually beat in the powdered sugar until smooth and no pockets of sugar remain. Done! Now wasn’t that easy?
Makes enough for a 13×9-inch sheet cake
